Africa Floorcare was established in 1996 and has grown steadily since, providing distributors and wholesalers with a wide range of products that are competitively priced, consistently high quality and specifically chosen for the African market.

The Africa Floorcare company of today is a result of the merger of 2 companies – PROMOP and Africa Floorcare. PROMOP was originally based in Johannesburg with its primary focus being the manufacture of mops, whilst Africa Floorcare was based in the Western Cape and focused on the floor pad and cleaning equipment and supplies markets. The two companies recognized the synergies in merging and now Africa Floorcare is able to provide a “one stop shop” for cleaning supplies - both enjoying economies of scale and servicing a distribution network throughout Southern Africa.

Business Principles and Ethics

We are proud to say that being a Christian based business means an even tougher approach has been taken towards sound business principles and ethics. We have a strong leaning towards social upliftment in our communities and amongst our staff. Currently we are directly involved with two NPO’s (Amcare and Beyond Education), as well as a number of other initiatives.
